The Endangered Species Act has saved countless species from extinction. The Act has preserved countless species for further existence in the future. Species including the Bald Eagle, the Endangered Species Act has saved Southern Sea Otter, Whooping Crane, and Red-Cockaded Woodpecker. Despite all the laws people continue to disobey the laws and illegally poach and kill animals for their valuable furs, horns, and tusks. The laws have done a lot to protect endangered species, but some people are unhappy with the Endangered Species Act because if a endangered species is found on their property the government has the right to do whatever they want with their property in order to protect the species.
